Set Tu Kei na PNG - 1 Jul 2018
Yadra Vinaka Wekaqu,
This past week has flown by. Turns out that I am going to be staying in the lovely area of Naulu, but sadly I had to say by to Elder Zenas. However, the Papua New Guinea grind isn't over just quite yet. My new companion Elder Billy is also from PNG. He has been out on the mission for a year and a half. We are going to be hustling together out here in Naulu.
Not much has happened this week. A lot of goodbye visits for Elder Zenas. We stopped by one of our recent converts, Aporosa, and he told us that if it wasn't for us two he wouldn't of been baptized. He said that we had what he needed to help push him along and take the things we taught seriously. It was great to hear that. It feels like the people I was called to Fiji to teach are falling right into my path. I know that Aporosa was one of the souls I promised in the pre-earth that I would come teach. It was originally a investigator handed over to us by the Sisters, but our relationship has become so deep that I know this was how it was supposed to be all along.
We have been seeing so much progress with our investigators in our area and I know we will be seeing a ton of miracles these next 6 weeks. Grateful to be serving in such an amazing area with such great members.
I heard a great quote this past week.
"It's better to avoid temptation, rather than resist."
As we strive to progress in this life and become our definition of a better person, whatever our weaknesses or bad habits may be, if we want to put them behind us we must avoid them, not resist.
Have a wonderful week,
Love,
Elder Richardson
