Bula Vinaka,
This past week has been great. The work has been moving and we just had an amazing zone conference which pumped me up. I heard a lot of great things that changed my perspective on the work we do. I went on two exchanges this week and was able to do some work outside of my area. It was nice to see how the work is in other areas, but also a nice little reminder of how fortunate I am to be serving where I currently am. Sorry I am short on time this week, but things are going well out here and I am grateful for the experiences I have been having.
Little Miracle:
We had an emergency exchange yesterday due to our sick District Leader. Elder Aisa and I went to church then proceeded to visit some families afterwards in our area. We were on our way back to the flat when I thought of one guy, Josefa, who lived near the area we were in. The house is a good 30 min. walk to the bush and can deter us from going sometimes when the day is busy. I then look in the direction of the house and see some little dirt footpath. I had a feeling this would be a shortcut. We asked some people. They had no idea. So we embarked on the journey anyways. After about 10 minutes I saw Josefa's house in the distance. When we got there we found out he wasn't home, but we were still invited in. We ended up teaching one lady, Litea, who had been wanting to join the church. She had already been reading the Book of Mormon and had a testimony. She agreed to be baptized on August 11th. Things have just been falling into place out here. Its crazy to really see how "ready to harvest" the field is.
Shout out to my brother Elder Spottiswood for finishing up his mission in Florida.
Have a great week,
Love,
Elder Richardson
