Bula Vinaka Weikaqu,
This week has been good. We are implementing this new thing into our missionary work where we have to say "hi" to at least 100 people everyday ( it was something we already did but keeping track of it was new). Even though we had already been saying hello to everyone, we found ourselves reaching out to a lot more people, and it has been interesting to see the results. People have shown more interest in us and we get a lot more questions about what type of work we do. Of course this opens many doors for us to set up appointments with them or just come talk another day with them and their families.
This past week we had 12 new investigators. 2 of which said they want to be baptized without us even extending an invitation to do so.
Last week we were walking and I saw some Rabians so I stopped to talk and asked if we could come visit their home sometime. We went to their house this past Wednesday. Bira, the girl I had originally been talking to said that she wasn't home but to go meet her family anyways. There was about 10 different people there. 3 people took us aside to talk and see what we wanted. We later found out that the 22 year old guy, Tau, that we were speaking to was a inactive member and wanted to get back to church. He had recently married and was talking to his wife 3 days before our arrival, and said that he wanted her to join his Church but they didn't know how to go about doing that. Then we came into the picture and have recently started teaching his wife. A true tender mercy for all of us. It was a great feeling seeing how my companion and I have been led by the Lord in our work.
Great week, great food, better people.
Love you all and hope everyone is able to find some peace and happiness in this worldly world.
Love,
Elder Richardson
