Happy Mothers Day!

Hope all those Moms out there had a great day and got the proper pampering they deserve.

Sorry I am short on time today, had to spend some time sending my love back home.  Was great being able to see my Mom and Grandpa today.  I miss them so much and am excited to see them when that day comes.

Work has being going well out here in Naulu.  We had a baptism this past weekend and it was great to hear the testimony of our converts afterwards.  Its nice to hear what things they choose to testify of when the time comes.  It is a very rewarding feeling.

This past week we went to my favorite investigators house.  While there during the lesson we tried to set a baptismal date for him.  I was 99% sure he would accept, and it would go well.  After we asked, he hesitated and told us he had already been baptized when he was a baby.  We redirected the lesson towards talking about proper baptism and so on.  I just felt we were losing his interest and attention.  I ended the lesson early and left feeling very sad.  Its crazy how as a missionary we can come to love our investigators so much.  When they don't keep commitments or stop progressing it is upsetting.  This is the first time I felt it so severely.  It really ruined the rest of my day.  I've been trying to bounce back from it but it hasn't been easy.  However, the work goes on!

I love this work and I love the people I am serving.

Have a great week,
Happy Mothers Day,
Love,

Interrupting our service to drop off our baptismal suit.

The Tikoicina family!

These kids are too much.  Chopping down banana trees and babysitting.

Waila River.  Looking like a savannah out here.
