Kam na bane ni mauri,
Hope everyone is doing well. Life is going very well out here in Fiji. It seems as if the rain has been falling non-stop, but it is still 80 degrees F. with a nice ocean breeze. I am very short on time today so I wont be able to really update on much.
The work has been going very well. Have some people who are really progressing and its great to be a part of it. There is a lady, "Bimra," who recently turned 70 and shes been waiting to be baptized for the past year and a half. She has been in need of a wheelchair so she could get to church and also get to the ocean to be baptized. She has been patient with the Missionaries. Supposedly she has been promised a wheelchair for the past year but nothing has been done to ensure that she gets one. The process was a lot more difficult than I presumed, but after a couple calls and some divine intervention we were able to find one. Tomorrow we are going back to Rabi, and will be giving Bimra her wheelchair. I am so excited to see her take it for a spin.
Things are going well on the island and I hope to be able to stay another transfer so I can be there for the remainder of the baptisms that should be taking place.
The past P-Day my companion and I were able to embark on a crazy hike. We had one of our members take us to "Korotabu," (forbidden village). Its about a 3 mile hike through dense jungle and up steep hills. There is a cave at the top of the mountain full of human bones. I was told that they're remains from the original inhabitants of the island who were cannibals (most likely true). The hike was a lot tougher than I had imagined and doing it barefoot didn't make things easier. There were some parts of the hike that were very dangerous, one slip and you'd for sure be ending up in the hospital. However, we made it there and back safely. Great experience.
Sorry that is all I have time for. You'd think they would give Missionaries that only write 2 emails every 6 weeks more time, but Rugby and lunch seem to be taking priority at the moment.
Have a great week everyone,
Enjoy your family and remember how blessed you are. Be Thankful.
Love,
Elder Richardson

| Huge valley. Inland of Rabi. Just before climbing the face of the cliff. |

| The Korotabu cave. Lots of bones and sadly only one skull. |

We have been catching a lot of crabs. They are so strong. Can take your finger clean off.
They're tasty though. A bowl full of crab claws. No butter needed. They're amazing.
