Day 3 of MTC - 24 Mar 2017

Hello Everyone!

So despite most of the rumors I have heard about the MTC, I find it to be a great place.  The initial transition was tough the first day.  However the love one can feel here is great.  Being surrounded by so many other Elders and Sisters is awesome.  Feels as if I have been continually blessed.  Our district is composed of just the Pacific Island Missions. Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, and Kirabati.  Altogether there is 23 of us.  They say usually there is half Polynesians and half Palangi (white people).  But this time there is only two of us! Elder Hansen and I.  There are 4 other Elders and 3 Sisters serving in the Fiji Mission.  Elder Aiono from Brisbane, Australia, a very big guy! Snores like a monster.  Elder Gaba who is from Papua New Guinea, he is a great guy! Very humble, has never experienced advanced technology in his life.  When asked his birthday he didn't know.  He says he is 21 and decides to celebrate his birthday on MLK day.  He is awesome.  My companion is Elder Kioa from Utah! He is Tongan and is probably the perfect Comp or me.  We do a lot of studying together and have been successful learning Fijian phrases.  A lot to be said but not enough time to write.  I haven't made to great use of time this P-Day but that will change!   I thought it was funny when I was taken to my room and I was staying in the Rey L. Pratt building.  Only building that would have some significance to me.  So far so great.  Love my district and teachers.  I miss you all and hope everyone is happy.

Have a great week,
Elder Richardson
